Blogging Your Way

No.10

3rd Mar 2011

This week I began an online course to help develop my skills as a blogger called Blogging Your Way.  Holly Becker from Decor8, a professional blogger who designed this course – the first of it’s kind by the way – to help people  who may be starting their own blogs for the first time or people like me who are struggling a bit to figure out the world of blogging and their voice in it.

Tonight as part of my course I listened to Holly talk about her story of how she got to where she is today and man did I relate BIG time.  The biggest thing I took away after her story was You have to believe in yourself and You have to make the changes necessary to get to where you want to be – to live a life of purpose and passion.  So right now I am digging deep and looking for some answers that I know exist within me, it’s just scary sometimes to step out of your comfort zone even when you are unhappy.  I need believe in myself and that is my first big step in the right direction!

Thanks Holly for the kick start I needed and for sharing your story.

I also wanted to say hi to any of my fellow classmates that may have dropped by for a visit – it’s nice to see you and I hope to meet you in the classroom soon.
